Today Phil Packer who suffered severe spinal cord injuries in 2008 and has gone on to raise an amazing £1.3 million for charity, announced his plans to walk the Virgin London Marathon to support 26 charities. Eight months after his elective left below knee amputation, following a motorcycle accident, Jozef Metelka was carving turns on the piste at Hemel Hempstead’s Snow Centre, thanks to a specialised prosthesis from PACE Rehabilitation in Chesham.
